I didn’t like the way it went
It surely was improper
This couldn’t have been heaven sent
The lies, the tricks, the horror!
But then I thought of Joseph
Who was sold out by his brothers
I remembered that he suffered
So that he could rescue others
And I also thought of Daniel
He didn’t have a say so
He had to live in Babylon
When he wished he could have said NO
The situation you are in
May not be your ideal
But when you’re in the furnace
You will find out God is real
So don’t complain or grumble
You’re only in a season
Trust in the one who’s in control
In time, you’ll know the reason
